Paris 2024: Super Falcons lose to Canada in friendly

The Nigerian women’s national football team, the Super Falcons, suffered a narrow 1-0 loss against the reigning Olympic champions, Canada, in their friendly match held at the La Quinta Football Centre in Malaga on Wednesday evening.

The Canadian squad maintained control of the game from the start, eventually finding the back of the net in the 18th minute to secure the winning goal.

Despite their best efforts, the Super Falcons were unable to level the score, squandering several opportunities due to their lack of clinical finishing.
